SUBJ: STONEWALLING OF A US 9/11 FEDERAL WHISTLEBLOWER PILOT BY THE DOT, FAA, AND OTHERS
Dear Honorable Madame and Gentlemen,
I write to your good offices as director and international public spokesperson for a global grassroots effort called 9/11 Pilot Whistleblowers whose website is at 911pilots.org and YouTube channel at 911pilots. Our purpose is to show that there were no Muslim hijackers at the controls of the 9/11 aircraft but that the aircraft were electronically hijacked through employment of a system called the uninterruptible autopilot that enables a remote source to take complete control of the aircraft autopilot and flight management computer and fly it to its target destination. Once this system is engaged, the pilots cannot disconnect it.
In August 2020, on behalf of our organization, I filed an FAA whistleblower report via the FAA Hotline Office alleging the above while providing this office with sufficient evidence and testimony to initiate an immediate investigation. After a twelve-month runaround with the FAA attempting to stonewall me at every turn, I received a copy of a 3-page memorandum addressed to Ms. Barbara Barnet, FAA Chief Investigator from Jeff Duven, Director, FAA Aviation Safety (attached) that attempted to justify the closing of my case by making false or erroneously misleading statements while leaving out critically germane issues pertaining to the case. In an email response, I refuted most of the claims made and subsequently received an email from Mr. Duven stating that the FAA was standing by their position and that this agency would not be responding to any future correspondence from me.
In August 2021, I filed an FOIA request for all FAA records pertaining to this case. With the exception of the three-page memorandum mentioned above, there was none, which very strongly suggests that an investigation was never conducted.
Without expounding, I have attached relevant letters and a memorandum associated with this case. There are more, including countless emails sent by me without a response.
Please note that certified letters were also mailed to the Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Department of Transportation Inspector General Eric Soskin, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, FAA Administrator Stephen Dickson and others from which I did not receive a single response. This is totally unacceptable. This is a critical matter concerning national security and aviation safety.
The FAA has acknowledged the existence of the uninterruptible autopilot system and our organization has provided evidence to prove that this system existed and was installed on commercial jet aircraft prior to September 11, 2001. Expert witness testimony from highly qualified pilots has been obtained wherein each has stated that not only were the unqualified hijackers incapable of flying the aircraft profiles that day, but that these pilots could not have flown the profiles themselves.
The very existence of an aircraft system that enables the electronic hijacking of commercial jet aircraft in flight poses a serious threat to passenger and aircrew safety and national security alike.
9/11 was the greatest crime ever committed on American soil in its history, a crime that has never been criminally investigated. When an individual or organization presents very credible evidence to a relevant agency of the federal government demanding that an investigation be initiated, it is not acceptable for the case to be trivialized (such as was in this instance with the FAA) nor individuals/groups to be marginalized. There are conspiracy theories and conspiracy facts. Our organization only deals with facts and demand that our facts be properly and thoroughly investigated.
When a whistleblower steps forward with information and evidence expecting that he/she has laws and regulations to protect him/her and agencies of the federal government to enforce them and then discovers that he/she has neither leaves one with a lonely feeling. It is the function of your committees to protect whistleblowers bringing forth information and your duty to enforce action against elements of the federal government that are not fulfilling their obligation to the American people, particularly the surviving family members who lost loved ones, or their stated mission objectives as outlined on their websites.
There is no statute-of-limitation for murder.
Request is hereby made that your committees commence an immediate investigation into my allegations that the relevant government agencies and organizations failed to properly investigate FAA Hotline Case Number S20200617032 and respond appropriately to me in a timely manner. Repeated requests to the FAA Hotline office that I be provided with the name, email address, and phone number of the cognizant single point-of-contact within that office went unanswered.
Please do not leave me standing alone. Kindly read the attached letters and respond to me at the address above, captaindanhanley@gmail.com, or (92) 300 555-0644.
Very respectfully,
Captain Dan Hanley (retired)
